The digiSOUND702 is a high grade sound module from Mtroniks for larger scale models that comes with engine sound installed, the engine sound is stored on a user changeable microSD card. This allows the user to swap and change engine sounds with any of the engine sounds available from the Mtroniks Ltd. sound library, these are available to purchase direct from the Mtroniks website.

Each of the different sounds available for use with the digiSound 702 come complete with an engine start up sequence, and engine shutdown sequence and a respective horn. The horn sound and type will vary depending on the locomotive engine sound you choose. After the engine start sequence the sound module will track the RPM of your locos motor and adjust the engine sound to suit the speed, giving a very realistic, real world sound to your model.

The engine start, engine shutdown and horn functions can all be controlled via our optional relay board or if you already have one of our DCi/ACi locomotive speed controllers, all the functions can be controlled from the speed controllers handset as standard.

The digiSound 702 comes complete with a built in amplifier and a high quality speaker allowing for very realistic sound reproduction which us further enhanced by the addition of tone control.

All engine sounds are recorded in CD, 16bit quality from the original locomotives.
